WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, is constantly working on new features to make its users’ lives easier. One of the most anticipated features is the ability to pin messages, which will be available in a future update of the app.
Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.7.3 update available on the Play Store, we have a preview of how this feature will work. As shown in a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, users will be able to pin important messages to the top of their chat list for easy access. To pin a message, users can simply select the “Pin” action within the message options.
Once pinned, the message will be shown at the top of the conversation with a small icon indicating that it is pinned. This feature can be particularly helpful for users who receive a lot of messages and want to prioritize the most important ones.
Not only does this feature make it easier for users to find important messages, but it also makes group chats more organized. When there are a lot of messages in a group chat, it can be hard to keep track of what’s important. Pinned messages make it easier for everyone in the chat to stay focused on the most important things.
